The Micah Walk is a weekly Christian newsletter for believers who take Micah 6:8 seriously (act justly, love mercy, walk humbly) and want the Scriptural grounding, honest reflection, and practical tools to actually live it out personally and in their church community.
Some call it public theology or Biblical justice. And call the process deconstruction or reconstruction of faith. I just call it faithfulness, part of being a Christian.
You don’t have to be a theologian to ask hard questions. Some of the most important questions about faith, justice, race, politics, and what it means to love your neighbor never get asked inside church walls at all. This is a space for those questions. Honest, unfiltered, and unafraid. God has spoken. So let’s walk.

I’m not a pastor or seminary graduate. I’m a lawyer, a husband, a dad, a neighbor, nonprofit board member, justice advocate, and a longtime small group leader whose faith is very much still under construction. Not falling apart, but being rebuilt more honestly. I read Micah 6:8 and take it personally. I look at the world and can’t pretend my faith has nothing to say about it. So I don’t just belive it, I act on it. And have started this Christian Substack to help others do the same.
The Micah Walk is for the believer who loves Jesus and their neighbor, and suspects those aren’t separate concerns. For the one tired of explaining away the Bible's relentless call to act justly, care for the widow and orphan, and protect the stranger. For anyone who thinks the prophet Micah was onto something and wants to find out what it costs to live like it.
Join us to learn more about what God says about faith and justice, to get the confidence to advocate and share with others, and to learn how practically to put it all into practice.
New articles drop every Wednesday. Notes daily.
