My favorite part of this post was you sharing about what your dad told you about not forgetting and how important it is to "practice locating yourself in relation to God before you do anything else." Harvey, this was exceptional. As you wrote about Micah 6:8 these past weeks, someone came to mind, Grandma Woodford. She and also Great Grandma Ala were to me in my short time of knowing them, living these principles. Thank you for helping me look closer at my walk.
Very true. Years ago while copying family photos I came across one of a young Grandma Woodford. It was in a frame so required a little surgery to remove. In behind the photo she wrote "remember me always". She wanted to be remembered, but expressed it in a place only she and the Lord could see it. And here we are remembering her.
