Heng - Are you aware that the Christians Seeking Justice group is hosting a virtual Jesus & Justice IV conference on October 10th featuring Pastor Joseph Yoo, focusing on lessons and applications from Micah 6:8?
Based on your engagement here on Substack, I think it would resonate with you. You can register at www.csj117.org. Also, we're hosting a local watch party at our home in Seattle that will include a pre-event brunch and fellowship. If you decide to registers, consider selecting our Seattle watch party if not too far for you to attend in person. I'd love to meet you live.
Thank you Harvey. Just reading A Hole in Our Gospel by Richard Stearns, and your call and his call to do one thing, take action, don't do nothing... so important when we are faced with enormity of need and injustice in our world which can be so paralyzing.
A Hole in Our Gospel is one of those books that gets under your skin and stays there. I read it last year and it genuinely moved me. Stearns has a way of making the gap between what we profess and what we practice impossible to ignore.
On that note, if you're not already aware, Christians Seeking Justice is hosting a virtual Jesus & Justice IV conference on October 10th featuring Pastor Joseph Yoo, focusing on lessons and applications from Micah 6:8. Sounds like it would resonate with where you are right now. You can register at https://www.csj117.org
Amen!
No one can do everything.
But everyone can do something.
I understand. Until then, I’ll look forward to continued conversations here.

I'm nearby up in Vancouver, but don't plan on going down to the US for fear of getting tarriffed at the border...
